ABOUT

Japan has an unparalleled cultural heritage
that has been handed down over millennia.
The world-class spirit of “monozukuri” (manufacturing)
and “omotenashi” (hospitality) are part of Japan's DNA,
inherited from traditional culture and crafts.

However, we are now facing a serious reality.
Many children are facing economic hardship, and at the same time,
the number of inheritors of traditional culture and crafts is decreasing.
The young people who will lead the next generation
do not fully understand the unique values of Japan.
On the other hand, Japanese culture is still highly valued in the world,
and the wisdom of Japan that has realized a sustainable society is
now an important element that the world pays attention to.

We are developing the following activities in
cooperation with artisans who are involved in the inheritance of traditional culture and crafts,
with the children who are the future of Japan as
our first priority.

  • 01.Educational support for children with economic difficulties.
  • 02.Providing programs for young people to experience traditional culture and crafts.
  • 03.Creating opportunities for exchange to pass on the skills and spirit of craftsmanship to the next generation.

These activities are not mere cultural preservation.
We will realize educational support utilizing the power of tradition so that children can experience the splendor of Japan and grow up with pride. Together with people of all ages, let us build a brighter future for Japan with pride as Japanese people.

Kanami Muroi

At the age of 12, I saw a picture of a Sudanese girl who was suffering from famine due to the civil war at the time, which inspired me to take up "protecting children" as my mission. I started my career in the overseas sales department of a major medical equipment manufacturer, and also began working for a non-profit organization originating in the U.K. At the age of 28, I became independent and have been developing a cyclical support program to spread the social impact of Japanese companies throughout Japan and the world, focusing on support for children facing various problems including poverty.

I rang the bell at the listing ceremony. After becoming independent, I established a human resources business and a trading and logistics business, and am now active globally. I am a native of Kyoto Prefecture and have studied abroad in the U.S. for six months. I have a renewed appreciation for traditional Japanese culture and its unique qualities, and am working to bring it to the world while preserving traditional Japanese culture and the good qualities of Japan.
